     JP Verhees Resume
J. P. Verhees is a former collegiate Head Soccer Coach at Westmont College, the University of California at Berkeley, and the University of San Francisco. He also served as assistant coach for the US U-20 National team and has been actively involved in coaching Southern California State and Regional teams in the Region IV Olympic Development Program. He, twice, guided the University of California at Berkeley women’s team to the NCAA final four; led Westmont College to a NAIA National championship both as a player and coach; was a three- time All-American and is a member of the Westmont College Hall of Fame.

A native of Helmond, the Netherlands, he was a youth professional player and later excelled as a player in the NASL and ASL leagues in the United States. Currently, he is involved in coaching, directing, and consulting youth soccer programs in California and the West coast and is a longtime member of the Northwest Soccer Camp Elite programs. His love for teaching, guiding young players and helping develop their understanding of the game of soccer continues to be his greatest passion.

Coach Verhees is a member of the NSCAA Coaches organization, holds a NSCAA Youth license, a USSF A-License, Swiss National B-license, and a Certificate of the KNVB Royal Dutch Soccer Federation of the Netherlands for match analyses.
